Our Equipment

Here at Tropical, we trust TanAmerica and have seen awesome results with their equipment & we know you will love the beautiful color you get from our units.

Regular Beds

These units provide 30 bulbs with the most UVB to produce a tan and enough UVA to get you dark. You will build a great base tan using this unit or our hexes! These have a 20 minutes limit, while our hexes offer 15 minutes of sunshine. We have 8 regular beds and 4 hexes to ensure that you can tan when it's most convenient for you!

Non-Facial A-Ray

We call these our non-facial a-rays. Sometimes, you may hear them being called 'bronzing beds' or 'VHR' beds. These beds will deepen your color by providing you with more UVA  in the 30 bulbs during your 15 minutes session. We have 3, so whenever you need a boost, be sure to hop in one of these!

1-Facial A-Ray

This bed has 32 bulbs which have more UVA than the non-facial units but with an extra kick and 15 minute max time. Need extra color in your face? The facial lamp in similar to the high pressure lamps and will bring out more color to the facial area.

3-Facial A-Ray

The employee's LOVE this unit. With 40, stronger UVA bulbs, you can stretch out. Plus the 3 facial lamps will give you face the all around color you want in only 15 minutes!

Our High Pressure Units

These units are strong- in size and capability! You will see a huge boost of color if you mix it up and use one of these every now and then. These beds require a 48 hour waiting period in between sessions, so if you aren't going to be seeing us for a few days or even weeks, these units are perfect. You will extend and deepen your tan with a 15 minute max time in the bed and 12 minute max time in the hex. Click here for more information about these units.
